Made with Care & Intention
You can always feel when something has been made with Care & Intention.
Our brushes and applicators are handcrafted in Germany or Slovenia, where brush-making endures as a centuries-old craft, guided by precision, restraint, and deep material knowledge. In these regions, long known for both brushwork and fine woodworking traditions, natural materials are chosen not only for performance, but for the comfort they bring to daily rituals of care.
Our baby alpaca wool socks are sourced and spun in Peru. Textile knowledge in Peru has never been incidental; it is cultural heritage. Spinning, dyeing, and weaving traditions have been passed down through families for centuries, preserving techniques that respect both the fiber and the animal. Even today, Peru remains the world’s leading source of high-quality alpaca fiber, and its mills combine this ancestral expertise with modern precision.
The socks themselves are milled in North Carolina, shaped by a storied American hosiery tradition and crafted for precise compression, consistent fit, and seamless comfort.
Together, these materials and places form a collection of daily essentials—thoughtfully made, quietly luxurious, and designed to support comfort, hygiene, and independence with lasting integrity.
All Natural Handles & Bristles
Natural bristles + beechwood handles:
Firm yet gentle tampico fibers provide effective exfoliation without harsh scratching, lifting away dead skin and surface oils to leave feet feeling clean, refreshed, and invigorated.
Nylon bristles, though not organic, are exceptionally suited for precision cleaning, particularly in delicate areas such as between the toes. Smooth and non-absorbent, they rinse effortlessly—essential when using antifungal powders or medicated products—ensuring hygieneis maintained without buildup. Their natural resilience keeps bristles soft and shaped, delivering consistent comfort and performance, day after day.
Paired with beechwood, a dense, smooth, and dimensionally stable hardwood, these brushes offer balanced, confident handling and lasting durability. The handles are handcrafted by skilled wood crafters, inheriting a storied tradition of brush making that spans generations. Beechwood’s fine, close-grained structure sands to an exceptionally silky surface, resisting splintering and allowing a firm, sure grip when applying pressure. Its inherent stability also keeps long handles straight, maintaining reach and angle even amid bathroom humidity or occasional wet use.
Tampico: natural bristles that work
Tampico fiber bristles:
Tampico fibers form bristles that are firm enough to exfoliate, yet gentle enough for regular use on most skin types. Their natural texture falls in the soft-to-medium range, delivering a satisfying scrub without the harsh, scratchy feel of stiff synthetics or coarser vegetable fibers. The fine, smooth tips lift away dead skin cells and surface oils with care, leaving skin clean and refreshed, never raw.
Chosen for centuries by European brush-makers, Tampico has a storied history as a premium plant fiber for personal hygiene and grooming tools. Its natural flexibility, resilience, and ability to hold water and cleansing products made it a trusted material long before modern synthetics existed. As a plant-based fiber from the agave family, Tampico naturally retains moisture and bath products more effectively than plastic bristles, while remaining durable and easy to care for. Resistant to heat, alkalis, and acids, it endures hot water and common bath products without compromise. Biodegradable and renewable, Tampico also supports a low-plastic, lower-impact routine—offering sustainable performance without sacrificing efficacy.
Baby alpaca: support socks you forget you’re wearing
Baby alpaca wool is prized for its next-to-skin softness, natural thermal regulation, and low itch, making it exceptionally well suited for compression and diabetic socks, where gentle, comforting contact is essential. Its very fine fiber diameter delivers a smooth, cashmere-like feel with minimal prickle—perfect for all-day wear on sensitive or medically vulnerable feet.
Lanolin-free and naturally hypoallergenic, alpaca reduces the irritation often associated with sheep’s wool. Microscopic air pockets within the fibers trap warmth efficiently without bulk, while remaining breathable and moisture-wicking, keeping feet drier and more comfortable across temperatures. Its natural odor resistance supports a fresher, healthier microclimate between washes.
Despite its luxurious softness, baby alpaca is remarkably strong and resilient, resisting pilling and retaining shape under stress. Its smooth, low-friction surface minimizes irritation points, perfectly complementing circulation-focused designs. Biodegradable and lighter on the environment, it offers sustainable luxury for those seeking lower-impact textiles without compromising performance.
